When digging up my vin for the insurance company. I popped the hood (didn't want to scrape ice, and forgot about the tag on the door jam) I found some interesting things under there....
3" down pipe
FCD
air pump removed
a/c removed
and a manual steering rack

on to my question.

Any one have a pic of a S4 and S5 turbo that I can compair, I might have an S5 on the car now, and I would like to know if it is, before I go out and buy one. I am sure it has been brought up millions of times, but my slow *** dialup will not let the search complete, it just times out. Thanks guys!!

 

Straight wastegate actuator rod = S4, Bent rod = S5.

I'll try to find the pics I have here soon.

 

That bulbous part on the hot side is the other giveaway, as well as the difference in manifolds (S5 is really short with parallel flanges.
