My Car has been in an accident. yup the whole frame is bent.

theres a 1.4 inch offset between the front two wheels

a 0.1 inch offset of the back wheels

a 0.7 inch offset on the driverside tires

and a 0.1 inch offset between the passenger side tires.

i got an allignment done and they brought the tires to "almost factory specs"

but im wondering how much frame work would be to fix it. im guessing more than the cars worth. so i might not even bother. anyone ever have frame work done? any info would be great.

Depending on your type of insurance.... total it, collect a check, get another one, mod with the leftover cash.

If you can't total it or what not (liability only) and if you have a beater.... strip the bitch down and part it. Easily make enough money to buy another FC.

Maybe consider buying another rolling shell and swap the parts.

I'm not sure about the fc but I had a cougar with a warped frame and I needed a four post frame allignment machine to resqaure it, I tryed it on a two post but it was to far out of sqaure to restraighten it and the four post was going to cost a little over $1,200 opposed to the free straightening I was going to do with the two post.

I'd go with poor red necks advice and see if the insurance company will total it. I declaired a nissan totaled when it had slight frame warpage (it had backed into a pole and pushed the left rear about 3 inches forward and crimped the frame) and they payed the differance to the pay off and the value of the car, but it really depends on your insurance company.
