i finally got to put my injectors in and got the car runnung. it idles smooth with no problem, but when given acceleration the car will go to about 2-2500 RPM's then go back down to idle. the car doesnt want to drive it just wants to buck.

what could be causing this problem?

i replaced all intake gaskets since i had pulled it apart. fyi

Can you rev it up in neutral, or does it still only go to 2500?

 

it will only rev to 2500 then almost immediately drop back down.

 

Sounds like your tps needs adjusting, bad ground (one on top of engine possibly), injectors plugged in incorrectly, vac leak, or even your pressure sensor.

More information would be helpful.

ok. i figured out that my friend had actually crossed the plug wires on the coil packs. so it fixed the problem. it runs and drives BUT it doesnt feel as if it has all the power it should have and it seems to "pop". kinda like a backfire but not so loud and it does it on acceleration and deceleration.

MODS are 2.5 thermal research exhaust, cold air intake, tein springs, tockico shocks. all mods where done by prev owner. i put NGK plugs and wires on it and changed the oil and fuel injectors.
