I am going to to buy an 88 SE model with no engine and a friend of mine has an 87 Turbo II with a fairly good motor. The body of the Turbo II is in very bad shape but the motor only has about 40,000 miles but the only bad thing is that the clutch went out and it has set for a good while and when he had it running he gave it alot of crap but I can get the whole car for $500 so should I do it or try to find a website and order a engine.

Id take the car. If you are up for it you can swap the tranny/rear end and motor. Complete sleeper

 

Sell the rest of the TII parts and get a nice front mount and you'll be set...
