i have an aftermarket boost gauge and a front mount. so i want to find out how much psi im acutally loosing across it. so what ive got now is a greddy boost controller reading boost at the turbo outlet. then the gauge reading from the bottom nipple from the three on the throttle body. the nipple to the left of the bac is where the bov is hooked up. does this sound ok or weird?

ok, well is the bottom nipple on the throttle body (the 3 in row) a good place for a boost gauge?

That will give you the pressure drop across both the intercooler and the TB, not just the intercooler. If you connect the boost gauge to the middle of the three nipples on the front of the UIM, you'll be reading pressure in front of the throttle, which will give you what you want.

There is always a pressure drop across the intercooler and it's pipework. That's what he's trying to measure. 1-2psi is okay, more means it's not a good set-up.
