good compression sound runnin on one rotor

so i was driving my car an over the past month i have been having problems with it. it would start great when it cold an when it warmed up ran great an idle good. Which i can understand sence i dont have emissions thermowax or coldstart. But when it would warm up my a/f would read about 13.5 an i would get on it, it would run great. BUT sometimes i would get on it an it would boost up to about 6500 an just start buckin an sounded like a two step but it didnt stop goin up in revs kinda like if u got on it let off got on it type thing. now before u ask i do have a racingbeat fcd an i know its not boost cut cause i only boost 7psi 10 up hill lol an it dont cut.

Over the month it would get worse an better. I was thinking maybe i have a bad injector or maf or maybe even a bad trail coil. So i changed all three with workin ones. Or maybe even a cas or water thermo temp.

But yesterday i just put my brake master in an started it up an it just smelt like gas. which wasnt odd to me cause it runs rich cold anyway. It wasnt really runnin at full strength. so i drove it up an over a few blocks an it ran ok but then it just fell on its face. First i would get on it an boost would hit an bammm all over agian two step sound. So i was like wtf looked at my gas gauge an i was kinda low on gas. thought it was maybe that. So took it home an got some money. Started to drive up to the gas station. As i started getting close it still didnt feel like it was running great. As i get close to turn in the car just runs like *** an the tach start freakin out going fro 2800 to zero dummy lights go on then off. so i let off an get on it agian an it does the same but this time i let off an it died. I sat in the lot an tryed to start it an it would get going an sound normal then tach freak out all over agian. Car would shut off so i got a jump an it ran good for about 30 feet an bamm all over agian.

So i changed the coil thinking well tach is trailin coil it started drove into the pump got gas started an it was ok reved it went up fine. drove out an it started agian. from the time i got about a block away it was just backfiring an poping. It died agian. tryed starting it back firing an all this just turning over. Check if maybe i put the plug wires on wrong they were fine trail an leading. Towed it home started workin on it put another cas in took my fcon out ran stock ecu. As i shut the car off got out an forgot to pull ebrake to shut off turbo timer. I heard a clickin an felt on injector an it was opening an closing. Changed the cas got it to start but i ran like one injector wasnt runnin. The compression is fine. three stong pffts. Had my friend with mazda thing check it front was 7.8,8.0-,7.9 rear was 8.1 8.0 7.9. note i rebuilt the motor reusing housings so i know thats probly as good as its going to get.

pull your UIM and take your fuel injector plugs off and make sure the little clips are fully forward, my friend was having that problem , then finally it stayed running on one rotor , i had remember reading about that before and checked and the little metal clips in the plug were pushed back,
just push them forward till they click back in place

The word is "and" its a conjunction. "an" is an article and cannot be used as a conjunction. Sorry, that just drives me insane.

That said, I agree with you about a bad injector, and the dummy lights coming on as well as the wall you hit at 6500 rpms lends me to think that your alternator is failing.

dummy lights on and off are a sign of Upcoming alternator failure, and that would cause the car to "freak out" if it is getting 0 and Full voltage on and off.

Also check the battery. An internal short will cause all kinds of electrical glitches that will drive you nuts. I've seen it multiple times on FCs and FDs.
