Is this a good buy or no?

I am strongly considering buying this 1988 rx7 with the 6 port motor so its n/a for those who dont know. The motor has 155,000 and runs mint but needs a batery. The shifter is a little sloppy but i believe due to the shifter bushings. The motor has a slight oil leak in the front end i believe it is the front main seal, i am not afriad to fix anything and take it apart and rebuild so keep that in mind. The car is from california and has absolutly no rust with a brand new exhaust and clutch and the people only want 900 bucks for it. tell me what you think please.

Go for it.

If you're on a budget, though, I'd spend the money to have compression tested if it doesn't have a rebuild in its history.

I'll take it if you don't want it.
