A radiator upgrade is a good idea.

Fluindyne and Koyo are the most popular brands to upgrade to in RX-7's. Of the bolt in units, the Fluindyne is larger, and I think it might even be a bit less money.

I would go to an electric fan just because it cleans up the engine bay a bit, saves a bit of weight (not much at all), and most improtantly makes your engine that slight bit quicker reving.

Depends on what you want. You have a few options, and price will vary greatly.
Fluidyne - approx $400, aluminum, 1 yr waranty
Koyo - approx $400, aluminum, 1.5 yr warranty

Aftermarket Brass (I recoment CSF) you can get from absoluteradiator.com - approx $160, - lifetime waranty.

Or
Stock - plastic encaps, price - who knows? Go either brass or aluminim.

The major thing to remember is that it SHOULD be an UPGRADE. Read: stock is 1 core, so upgrade to 2 core. stock is plastic endcaps, so upgrade to brass or alum.

I'm sure others will chime in here as far as the performance aspect goes. So I will leave that alone.
good luck

OEM type replacements can be had for $145 plus shipping at www.radiator.com

I have know many people who have ordered through them and they were all satisfied. This is for stock replacement only. They are brass, BTW.

I've seen the Koyo for $345 at many online vendors sites. Don't know about the Fluidyne. I hear both are great. My radiator is about to be replaced and I'm leaning towards a new Koyo and a Flex-a-Lite Black Magic e-fan to go with it.

Like I said before...when ordering the rad. make sure you are upgrading. Make sure that the replacement has 2 cores. This will increase coolant capacity and cooling ability of the rad.

Nooooooo!!!!!
Don't put a replace a bad radiator with another stock one on an RX-7!
Even if you pick up a larger unit from another car in a junkyard, at least do that, instead of putting in a stock one!
