Gone Missing: Engine Mount Stud

One of the driver's side engine mount studs has gone missing... I began to think it was never there but then found a picture to the contrary.

It's the stud for the upper right, across from the coolant drain plug. So since I've got a crosshatch from the other two bolts I'm not worried about it causing problems right away since I'm not going to be revving over 4.5k anyway for a while.

I can't see inside the hole, does it lead to the coolant passages or am I good to go on filling it up without anything in that hole?

AND, where is the best place to get a replacement stud? Junkyard? Mazda?

No worries, you can do without it no problem. The motor mount uses a single 10mm stud, while the bracket to the engine uses 3 14mm (iirc) studs...so guess which is the weakest link anyway. Nobody ever breaks the motor mount studs off, so you have no problem running without a stud on the bracket. It doesnt lead to anything and won't cause a leak.

Quit yer bitchin and start the damn thing up. You're just making excuses not to face the moment of truth...

if you are really that concerned you could just find a spare bolt with the same pitch and run it in there, just be careful it doesn't bottom out short of being tight.
