going to track, need diferent tires?

so i got a track day at little talledega planned for early november and i was wondering if i should get new/different tires for it. i got kumho ecstay supras right now. i do wnat to auto crosss in the fture but not hardcore or anything just every now and then. so if i did by tires for this track day would they store well for future auto crossings? or will the track not eat muy tires that much? they goit like a 1000 miles on themn at most right now

a drag track wont eat up your tires if you dont burn them out if you burn them out then you could see a little wear but spinning of your tires wont hurt it cause tarmac doesnt eat your tires like a true road

If you're not that hard core, I'd use your stock tires. Race tires are nice, but they're a hassle, and expensive.
