ok i got my 89 TII and ran it last year with some racing beat exhasut tb mod emission removal and about 9ish pounds of boost with a safc 2 and rewired fuel pump. stock TMIC and ran a 13.8 @ 101mph.. ok now i have 3.5" JIC exhaust fro the turbo back.. im getting like spikes of 12 on shift settling at like 10.. do you think i should put on a boost contoller set to like 11 or so. so it spools faster..... any guesses on what kind of times i will be getting.. oh yea i also replaced the diff this year with a S4 TII diff didnt like the viscous crap.. let me know!!!

Forgot to mention last year i was on som etinny littel nitto drag radials they were 205 45 15 they were for a honda i have to be on street tires for this one trip unless i can get one fo my firends to lend me ther bfg drag radials.

 

Well first off, you'll need to port the wastegate to stop the boost spikes - not add a boost controller. And IMHO 3.5" exhaust is a little overkill for a stock setup.

What times will you run this year? I dunno, get a time slip and tell me. My guess - 13.5ish

 

forgot to mention that i ported the back plate on the turbo housing so the wastegate opens up further!!! oh yea as soon as fund are avalable ill be upgrading... im getting a koyo radiator, 2 720cc injectors and a wideband!! thats why i got the jic 90mm.. and it sounds so good!!
