goes to 4000 and drops

I never post on here, I can usually fix my problems just by searching, but not this one.

I recently ported my intake manifolds. While I had them off, I created a block off for the EGR and the ACV. I also removed the OMP, and am going premix. After I put everything back together I went to go do the dreaded first start.

For some reason i can not figure out, the rpms go all the way up to 4000, and after a while the car will just die. I keep checking vacuum hoses and such but no such luck. Still the 4000 thing, and i don't like it to run at 4000 right away, so i shut it down. Also, putting it in gear or tapping gas doesn't work.

P.S. I have an 86 RX-7 base with the above mods and true dual exhaust. Thank you

Check to make sure the block off plates aren't leaking air out of them. I know I had a problem when I got my block off plate for my ACV, it had a vacume leak and it would die. Since I fixed it, it's been running great.

Check the TPS connector. Mine did the same thing when I didn't push the TPS plug all the way together.

TPS plug is good, sounds like something with the TPS, but i...........yeah, i don't know

Yeah, i've been checking stuff all over guys and i can't figure this out, Anybody???????

All right, update time.....
I fixed that hot wire thing. Now it revs up to only like 3000 and drops right away. This sounds more like an intake leak to me because i've experienced it before. I still have no idea on what to do.
I'm the only person replying to my own posts

Ok, I fixed that hot wire thing, and i'm replying to myself yet again. Now it revs up to 3000 and drops right away. I can't even keep it running below 1500 just by using the gas. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
