GM afm conversion

Has anyone done this? So far all I need is a translator and the maf and I am set. I've also heard that you can tune it for bigger injectors and whatnot.

Btw, I did run a search.

Thanks,
Zane

Your options are, Greddy E-Manage or EM Ultimate, and the MAP ECU. Those are the only translators I am aware of that will accept a MAP signal and translate it into a flap signal.

Again, those are the only two I know of.

I assume this is your goal, correct? Removal of the AFM?

Why?
Are you making 300+ hp?
If not, it's not that much of a restriction...

Not to question you in particular, but I have heard that the AFM is and isnt a restriction. Do you have any proof besides accumulated knowledge to to show that its not a restriction.
