Getting rid of smog unit? Where do i find block off piece?
so i want to keep my ac belt and alternator and water pump. so i want to get rid of my smog unit. I have a 1991 non turbo rx 7 and want to get a little more horsepower out of it. What all can i do to this car in order to get the best performance. It already has headers and bonez catback which i might add im about to bolt on a Power EXtreme Exhaust! I need your input, Help!

only "bolt on's" for power in an N/A are exhaust, intake...you won't see any gains really from removing the emissions, if anything it a placebo thing. The only part of the emissions system that actually holds back any power at all would be an old cat...and we're talking 1-2hp at best when its out of the way.
Other than porting there aren't really any ways to gain very noticeable horsepower on an N/A motor....sorry big guy
now turbo on the other hand..........
