Getting Ready to Pain Q's (Trim, rust, etc?)
Getting ready to paint and remove engine. Most everything is off for painting but I cant seem to get at these trim pieces. Anyone know the trick?
1) Side painted trim behind front wheel
2) Side painted trim in front of rear tire
3) Door side trim (looks like you just squeeze these tabs but I cant get an angle on them)
4) Door pillar rust is REALLy bad. Can that be fixed?

Thanks, I thought maybe the rear was glued in, but the front has at least one clip I cant reach. I pulled back the wheel well splash shield and I can see one clip.
If I remember right you GENTLY squeeze the sides of it and it will come through the hole. It is square, two sides go in two sides are hollow.
Do a search on the forum for them, Im sure you can find a pic so you dont end up ruining them.
spot blast, weld through primer, weld patch holes, etching primer, paint.
