getting my hybrid turbo today
well im excited tonight i get to pick up my hybrid turbo. it is a 60-1 to4b. they current owner has it on a street ported turbo II motor in a fist gen, but he says it takes him till 5k to spool it... im thinking it is a problem with the waste gate flapper getting pushed open. is there any way to check this. im hopeing it does well on my 89 TII its just a stock port but has the guel mods and monitoring equipment for it.
BTW. its an s5 turbo, and my car has full JIC spec 90 exhaust from the turbo out, safc II, wide band O2, defi EGT, FCD, 3" TID, full emission remaval, and soon to be front mounted and 4 720cc injectors..

well i ended up not buying it... some one had just afro engineered it together. they had not done any porting on the hot side at all. even the wategate hadent been touched. i also saw what looked to be oil on the backing plate for the hot side, and when i opend up the wastegate there were like 3 or 4 good size cracks in the housing. than the orig deal was for 400 and he bumped it up to 450 so i left it there. so noe back to trying to find anouther one!!
