Getting mixed info from people auto to 5sp swap

FL Getting mixed info from people auto to 5sp swap

Ok i'm going from a n/a 88 rx7 automatic to a 5speed non turbo i'm being told that i need a n326 flywheel and counterweight or it will have vibes then i'm reading that all i have to do is to remove the automatic counterweight and not but anything. someone clear this up please it's giving me a headache

That is why i'm asking i did search it tells me to remove it and i'm being told that i need it i want to make sure so next time read the whole thread and where does it say there that you remove the counterweight or have to have one i already read that thanks

If using stock flywheel, use one from the SAME SERIES as your engine (s4, s5) and SAME SERIES transmission (n/a, TII).

If using aftermarket flywheel, keep the AUTOMATIC COUNTERWEIGHT. Bolt aftermarket flywheel to the counterweight.

ok i'm using stock flywheel so i don't need the counterweight then sorry i'm alittle hard headed
