Gets fuel, but injectors clogged?
Hey, I just put back in my motor, wired everything up right, and it's getting fuel. BUT the injectors are not working properly. The only way for me to get the motor started is throwing fuel into the intake plenum. I know the fuel rail is getting fuel, because when I took out the injectors, fuel came out. How do I go about fixing this problem? Thanks.

I was having this problem after a recent rebuild. I just ran a shitload of carb cleaner through the car and it started firing up everytime after initially starting on carb cleaner. It wasn't the injectors, the car just wouldn't start fgor the first time by itself.

I was told the metal line closest to the firewall is the feed line, and the one further away from the firewall is the return line. Thanks for the help so far. That injector place sounds pretty good, but I would rather get my motor started, and see it running before I send them there.

Ya if it was working before the change they should work now ,short out that green connector behind the air filter that makes the fuel pump run all the time as opposed to when the AFM says engine is turning over . You did plug in the AFM didn't you ?

Yeah, the AFM is plugged in. The engine cranks, and has compression. It's missing the fuel! Ahh, I'm so close to fixing this. I heart my FC, never going back to pistons.

The most fwd metal line is the feed. The rear metal line is the ............fill in the blank.
Your fuel lines are crossed.
See page 4B-68 of the online, free, factory service manual. The FUEL SECTION.
I hope you have not spent a lot of thyme on this project.
The connector near the afm is YELLOW in color with a rubber boot surrounding it. But, then all you have to do is swap the arrangement of the fuel lines to fix the problem. IF it's a USA version of the car.
