Get a Cumberland clutch? <--autozone brand

Hey, i need a new clutch, and as usual the funds are a little on the low side... Autozone is selling a clutch kit for $150 that suppossedly has all the parts needed, anyone have exp. with this brand? I'm not terribly worried about performance, just want it to last a good while and want it to have about the same feel as stock. Any info would be much appreciated

get the street/strip clutch kit from rotary performance. It's $200, comes with everything you need, even the clutch alignment tool and throw out bearing. And it also has about 20 percent more clamping pressure than stock, with no increase in pedal effort.

I put in the clutch kit from Autozone this spring. I drive my car to work every day and works just fine. It's got enough clamping force to spin the tires so thats enough for me. The pedal feel is quite nice and feels to me like stock.

You will still want to buy a pilot bearing and seal which isn't part of the clutch kit and not available from autozone.

A street strip clutch kit seems like a deal for $200. The street/strip clutch disks (not kits) I priced were about $200 just for the disk. I'd would consider this if it's real.

Hmmmm.... *rubs chin* the rotary perf. one does sound like a deal, hey Samps, where can i get one? Do they have a website? Yes, im definetly getting a new throwout bearing pilot bearing, and anything else that looks the least bit bad... My car used to make horrble noise from the clutch, but eventually it stopped, now it works fine but im told that its worn out, it doesnt grab until the pedal is like all the way out.. If the rotary performance clutch is a no go, i guess the autozone one would be good then, just wanted to hear that it wasn't junk thanks guys!

I have it on my car and I love it, I had KD rotary install it so I have no idea how difficult the install is.
