i had this car for a couple of months now, thought id share. please excuse the poor paint job as i bought the car "as is" from the last owner who primered the **** out of it. all flames welcome but please do it as nicely as u can, enjoy! =)

 

It's not that bad when I bought my car it was like 3 different colors. First time I've seen steelies on a FC

 

my first FC had steelies on it. It was a red SE. I absolutely LOVED the way they looked. The only thing better were my 14X8 1984 Toyota P-Type wheels (painted black).

Lose the lip, though...or put some time into fitting it better.

 

ill buy the lip from yah. lol

 

Oh...and here's something. Borrow an air compressor (unless you have one) and go get a $15 paint gun from wal-mart. Then go to Autozone (wal-mart might carry it, actually) and get a can of heavy duty black primer and have a go at her. Primered FC's look ******* sick (as long as the stock primer/paint underneat was intact it'll last long and be strong too).

Is it just me or are his FTP lenses lighting up by themselves? Did the previous owner do that ghetto "Jspec FTP mod" thing?

 

I will do that with my next FTP's...lol...but mine will be with a set of landing lights or something. Thinking LED's would be slick. Anyways...

When I went and looked at my first FC, she had the black steelies with a chrome ring aorund the lip of the wheel (looked so cool for some reason). The next day when I went to pick her up the ***** had painted the wheels, hubs, everything an iff-silver color. Pissed me off. Took three weeks to get that **** off and the wheels back to a glossy black.

 

lol i did those ghetto DIY FTP's, i didnt want it too bright and it looks way better at night, thanks for all the comments and advice.

yah that wrx will probably own all of us unless u have an FD lol, i drove it once and it made my ***** hard.

 

if you look at the pic where there car is parked in the road look at the right side of the lip it was cut to length and they only cut one side. you can tell because the opening goes farther out on oneside than it does on the other side. it lookes lke it came off a car wider than a semi truck. just my .02 but its a aight project i guess, how is the interior?

 

yah the right side of the lip wasnt cut right ill find time to fix it and align it more, as for the interior, it is crap, dirty like hell. im not too serious with this car, it is only my daily driver/bucket.
