The stock suspension works fine for autocross. FYI the more you modify your car, the higher up you go in racing class, and tougher your competition becomes. If you are looking for a trophy, it's not such a great idea to move up to the next class with only one of the many authorized mods for that class.

I'm saying that if you give us very vague information I'm going to give you a very vague answer.

Budget, class, tires?

Well, depending on what else you have done, I would say that the Stance GR+ are very solidly built pieces, and allow for a lot of adjustability. Now, do you really want to spend $1500 on coilovers before you do other mods is YOUR call.

I would upgrade all the bushings to poly as well as getting a DTSS eliminator kit before I got coilovers.

Coilovers are legal in all SCCA classes except stock, where springs must remain stock. E Stock is a tough class anyways with the miatas.
