So the other day I was not paying attention and my gas got so low the idiot light came on. I put in about a half tank and for some reason it will not shut off. The light has been on all day. Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

 

Probably a bad sender unit.

lol my light wouldn't turn off either the first time it came on. I just ignored it and it eventually turned off. It doesn't work anymore though.
