garrett turbo thoughts

I just picked up a garrett t4 turbo for a great deal and wonder about your thoughts. It will go on a streetported s4 13b. Compressor A/R is .50 and the turbine is A/R 1.0. I already have a T4 flanged header with a wastegate provision.

The turbo was a garrett factory rebuild with the tag and painted bolts and all with low miles. It has no play at all.

For $140 I just couldn't pass it up, the seller got it from a buddy and had no idea what he had.

This project will not likely materialize this year, not sure what I am going to do with it but my dream is a twin charged project.

What is the potential for this turbo. The turbo route is new to me so I don't plan to rush in.

Any feedback is welcome.

The hot side is a little large. Might be just a tad laggy. I usually try to stay between a .80 to .90 hotside to bring the full spool in by 3000 rpms. I got your pm btw.
