FYI: ports on stock catback

When I bought my 87gxl there was no cats, just a straight pipe. The genius before me decided he didnt want the 5th and 6th ports opening I guess and neglected to hook up the actuators. So first, I welded a little pipe that came out of the exhaust and hooked it up to the actuators, and still no worky. I was told that the stock catback had enough back pressure to actuate the ports. I added a resignator and bamn they work now. So if you want to gut your cats or have them removed on an s4 I highly recommend not relying on the stock catback reguardless of what people might tell you. That is all. Just trying to save people some time and money.
