Funny noise when clutch pedal is pressed..
Sometimes when I'm at idle, and I press in on the clutch...there's like a small whistling kind of noise coming from inside the engine bay/tranny/clutch area...I didn't notice it until recently. Whats going on? Is something I should be worried about?

ok...people told me that was the throwout bearing and it's normal and doesn't hurt anything and will be replaced when you get a new clutch. my clutch went out on me about 2k miles afterwards...stock clutch to 150k miles though, so that's not too bad. how many miles on it? i'd plan to get a new one, because if you don't...
i was pulling out of my little bro's school and when i pushed in the clutch it stalled. WHEN I PUSHED THE CLUTCH IN! finally, it felt really bad to push in (i'm talking just on the way home) like all sorts of grinding i could feel. i limped it home and then to a mechanic a couple weeks later, centerforce 1 clutch works wonders, only like 250 from mazdatrix

Well..my car has 108K+ on it, but this is the 3rd clutch. The first clutch wore out..the second clutch was installed wrong, so the same people who put the second one in wrong..put the 3rd one in for free. This was all done before I bought the car, and I have the paperwork on it, but I wonder if maybe they screwed up again!? The current clutch has around 45K miles on it....if I can sell my four-wheeler soon, I'll replace the clutch!
