Fuel upgrade question.

I originally planned on getting the racing beat 3" exhaust so I got the walbro pump so I run the risk of leaning the car out. Long story short, I going with the 2.5" setup for now. Do I still need the walbro? Or will the stock pump be sufficient? Thanks.

I'd still recommend the Walbro, especially with no cats.

Defo! go for the Fuel system first. you may want to look into relaying your pump to, i know it does'nt make a lot of diffrence to a big pump but it nice to know the Pump is sorted.

Have you Uprated your ECU yet? how far are you going? if thats it Exhaust and filter just hang around the Third gens and pick up a stock Third gen pump strait swap and can run easly 300bhp (flywheel). my best pal runs 340bhp on a stock FD (they have bigger secondrys too).

How far do you want to go?

I have the walbro in now. Car runs really rich. Originally the setup was going to be intake, rb 3" exhaust, walbro pump, TID mod, SAFC or ECU upgrade and FCD (depending on if I went with the SAFC or the reprogramed ECU). I figured with that I'll be into 13s. Which is fine with me. The reason I'm asking is that the stock fuel system is maxed out around 10 psi. I would be seeing that just with the 3" exhaust and intake but with the 2.5" system they (RB) said I should see only a 2 psi increase. That would put me around where I'm at now around 7.5-8 psi. no? But you guys seem to recommend keeping the walbro. So I guess after the exhaust I'll do the ECU. Thanks
