Fuel Treatments?

Yesterday I was in my local NAPA dealer and asked what they recommended to use as a gas additive, injector cleaner. They recommended a product called “Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant”. Does anyone have any experience with this product in a rotary engine? I plan to give them a call tomorrow and ask about their experience with rotary engines.

FYI their web site is www.lucasoil.com and their phone number is 1-800-342-2512.

What are you guys and gals using?

Jerry

If it were me I would use Marvel Mystery Oil! It can be used for just about eveything. Oil additive, fuel additive, fabric softiner, mouth wash you name it. Seriously though its great stuff and probably cheaper. My advice.

Do you have an upper cylinder to worry about?
Why do you want gas additive?

You don't need gas/oil additives in your car.
But, if you like supporting your local economy, use any FI/Topend/carbon remover/drygas in your gas.
If you want to premix(removed MOP), use MMO or 2-stroke oil in your gas.

I didn't see an upper cylinder lube gas additive in the lucasoil products website.
