Fuel tank replacements

heya

Fuel tank in my car is trash (rusty, broken screws, leaking seams, etc...)

what is the usual remedy? is their enough tanks from clean-ish cars floating around where i should look for a good used one or just go right to strapping a fuel cell under the car?

If a fuel cell is the way to go, any ideas on what one? i'd like one that i could make the stock level sensor work with or one that has an internal level sensor with similar values so it plays nice with the stock gauge. i'd like to keep with an internal fuel pump (dropping in a new AEM340lph), but if i have to go external pump to get a decent priced fuel pump i'll go inline 044.

the car is a street car and does not compete in anything other then "run what-cha-brung" autox, track days, and drag strips

thanks!

Sheesh, this is a no-brainer.
It's a street car and you want to retain the stock sending units...replace with a good condition stock tank.

Stock tanks should still be a dime a dozen. Professionally cleaning and relining a tank is generally less than $100. Just add that into your cost and don't have to worry about the tank for another 20 years.
