fuel system question for 550/1600

fuel system question for 550/1600

aright im going to be using a hybrid to4e with 57 trim wheel and i also have an FD fuel pump new which i believe flows 243lph.. i have s4 fuel rails and im not exactly sure as to what i need to have done to the secondary rails for the 1600cc injectors and what else i NEED to get as far as lines, fpr, etc. can someone please clue me in to whats necessary to upgrade the fuel system to accomodate these things??? thank you guys

As long as they are the right size injectors just get new orings and grommets and pop them in there.

That 57 trim isn't one of those ebay specials is it? If it is you should look them up and read about their self machining compressor wheels.

haha no the its not an ebay spectacular.. just a diff trim wheel than like a 60 trim ya know? the secondary rail wont need to be fitted to handle 1600cc injectors? ive been hearing that something needs to be done to the rail to make them fit? thats why ive been confused.. thanks for helping thoughh

The regular ford type 1680cc injectors dont fit in the stock fuel rails. You will have to either take a drill press and drill out your stock rails to fit the 1680s, shim the 1680s down to fit in the stock rail, or buy aftermarket fuel rails. On Injector.com they do sell 1600cc injectors that fit in the stock rails though, You just need japanese style injectors.
