Question Fuel Smell and Oil LEak

Hi everyone! I just replace my oil pan gasket and is still leaking like crazy! What else could it be?? I haven't had a chance to look under the car yet since the oil change, but my oil cooler seems to be cake in dirt so could my oil cooler be leaking?? Also the leak seems to be coming right off of the oil pan could i have miss tighting a couple of bolts? Well Any ways I was checking my oil and stuff after i got to work this moring and i notice some fuel smell at the back of the car. It wasn't a strong smell but is noticable. I Am almost sure is not the Pulsadamper since i was under hood the whole day yesterday and didn't smell any fuel at all. Any ideal what cause the fuel smell?? Any input would be welcome thank you in advance!!

clean off the oil cooler and lines as well as the oil pan and also engine if able to.....after clean and dry start car and let sit idleing and revving and look and see if you see where it is coming from. Don't drive it cause that might mislead you because of the blow back.

There are many things that could be leaking oil in that area of the car. Oil filter stand (o-rings), banjo bolt for the line to the oil cooler, oil pan or even could be a leak from the transmission. You have to wipe everything down, get underneath the car and look for the oil trail.

That oil leak need to be fixed. Clean everthing off as best you can. Don't half *** it. This is the only way to see where it is leaking from. ONce it is clean just track the oil. Simple, but the engine NEEDS to be spotless.

About the smell, did you flood your engine recently? I noticed that after I flooded my engine. I changed the oil and there it was. Whoosh, the oil reaked of gas. COuld be something else too, you could just be running rich. There are a lot of things that could cause it. est thing tdo is try those, and search on here, it has been covered before. Just start with the small things.

Good luck.

Update

Update!! I try to track down the fuel smell and it seem to come from the gas door side of the car. SO i am going to try looking at the fuel filler neck later this week. As far as the oil leak it looks like is coming from the oil cooler banjo bolt. Should i just change the whole hose unit? Or just Silicon the bolt and put it back?? And will oil shot out if i unbolt the oil cooler bolt?? I know oil will come out but i just change the oil so i don't waste all the new oil.
