Fuel Rail Question

Does anyone know the limit of the stock fuel rail and fuel lines? How high would a Walbro 255 support?

I don't remember where I read it but I saw somewhere that the stock rail supports something like 500-700HP maybe even more. IIRC you would actually have to change every other component of the fuel system (ie. lines, pump, filters) before even needing to think about the rail.

Lines actually support a lot of power too. I dont' remember the number but I think you would need either race fuel (100+ octane) or water/meth injection for the amount of boost you would have to run to reach that number. Or at least it was damn close.

figured i would ask... gt4082 on 850s//1680s... the motor previously had 4x 550s, and 4x 550(?) on an AIC, feeding the UIM and TB elbow.... but, want to simplify it because i am running a power fc...

my other project had fuel starvation at the upper rpms on 3/8 lines... had to switch to 1/2 lines - but then that was on a carbbed engine...

who knows what would happen on a FI motor? XD
