Fuel rail question

Hey guys I have been gathering parts for the next big upgrade for my car (fuel system and turbo) and I picked up some billet fuel rails off a group buy on ausrotary. Now they came with -8an fittings on the end of the rails and I am going to be installing full braided fuel lines throughout the car later on. Now i know there is no real point in installing bigger fuel rails with the stock fuel system but I dont have much on this weekend and was gonna do it anyway. Do the normal fuel lines actually screw onto the rails or do the just slide over and use a clamp, if so can i be dodgy for now and slide the fuel line over the fitting and clamp it there, or am I just being a tool and should wait till i get the rest of the fuel system and do it all at once?

If you have -8an bungs on the rails, or any an fittings on there, trying to seal a hose with a clamp would result in leakage, however small they might be.
