Hi Griz,

First, I have not personally done this...
yet.

A couple questions:
o What size injectors in your primaries?
o What is the base pressure at the fuel rail?
o What boost levels are you planning on running?

I'm just running the numbers from www.rceng.com, Ray Hall turbocharging, and the fuel calculator from rx7.com:

450RWHP = 520bhp. To support 520 at < 80% duty cycles, you'll need 2x720's in the primaries, along with the 1600's (I'm assuming 40psi base pressure). At that rate, your pump will need to be able to deliver ~440 lbs/hr (or 73.65 gal/hr) of fuel at whatever your max boost pressure will be.

The bottom line on the pump: will it deliver the volume you need at the pressure you need?
See the attached image for pressure v. volume rating for common Supra pumps (credits to www.mkIV.com).

Based on recent conversations, you're looking at a Nippondenso Pump - available at the RX7 Store for about $250. For an additional $200 in fittings and hoses, you can get the Aeromotive pump and brag about having a -10 fuel system (wish I could

That's my best guesstimate based on the numbers.

Holy crap, what are you feeding? A firehose?!
You'd better check that figure, that pump would empty your tank in 14sec!
The pump needs to be able to comfortably outflow the injectors, so 2x550 + 2x1600 = 4.3Lpm. This is heaps as you only need about 3.2Lpm for 450rwhp. About a 75gph pump would do sweet.

What type of pump would I need. I just have basic upgrades. Intake, Header, no-cats. I plan on doing major transmission work and possibly T 2 injectors. Nitrous kit in the future when evrything else is done.

I think he meanth 260 lph...ala the 255 of the Walbro.

Grizzly,
You might want to look for a slightly bigger pump. Your plan calls for way too much power. I don't think you will stop at 450 rwhp. keep it going.
