fuel pumps

when is it neccessary to upgrade your fuel pump?. how much hp can the stock fuel pump on a 88 gxl n/a handle?. also. what fuel pumps are best for n/a's?. any suggestions and comments are gladly appreciated. kinda new to sevens. just got mine in august 05.

200HP seems to be the limit. At that point alot of NA guys just use TII fuel pumps. I don't know if they have alot of logic behind it but its what they do.

What have you done that you feel the need to upgrade?

Don't ever put a Walbro on an NA unless you have an adjustable regulator or you'll run stupid rich and lose power. It's a 500hp fire hose and is completely unnecessary. You need to be doing better than most NA owners here before you need to upgrade the pump.

Ok, thats what I thought, my pump gave out on me and I thought a good after market pump like Walbro would be better and more reliable...guess it to much for lil 'ole NA..
