Which fuel pump? Walbro or Rotary Performance

I was looking for a fuel pump, and I was on the Rotary Performance website. They have a fuel pump on their site, they state it does not cause the car to run to rich at low RPM or idle. Does the Walbro cause it to run to rich? I am looking for opinions and advice on this one. Preferably from people who actually are running one of the two pumps.
Thank you,
Jeremy

The Walbro did cause my car to run rich at idle.. i think the stock fuel pressure regulator couldn't handle it.. It was bad enough that i had to put the mazdatrix "leak down flood solver" on the fuel line cause my injectors started leaking after i shut the car off. I also leaned my SAFC WAAAY out at idle... but, , man... the price.. you can get a walbro off ebay for like 80 bucks!!!!

Since went Haltech, and put an aftermarket FPR in the car... Problem solved...

I'd go Walbro and get a good FPR, cause the more you start modding. the more you need the upgraded FPR anyway

kinda off topic, but.... i recently bought a TII and my car runs rich and the idles all bunged up, wondering if theres a way of telling if i have a aftermaket fuel pump.. or if my TPS is just fucked, cause i can push 12PSI with ease, and i have a fuel pump cutt of switch. and when i go to start my car after about a half an hour i gotta turn the fuel pump switch off then, turn it over and switch it on to start the car without flooding it, just lookin for some input thx.

oh yeah rewire your walbro before you put it in. The more voltage you get to your pump the more it will flow. When you fo to replace it you will find that the screws are tiny so don't strip them. Also the wires are tiny and mine were coroded. Probably why I smoked my NA motor.

That's a classic symptom of leaking injectors, usually. Pull your injectors and have them cleaned. I used Cruzin' Performance (http://www.cruzinperformance.com) who seemed to do a great job and are amazingly well priced.

But if you want to know about your pump, yeah, just pull it. If your car's underbody is all nice and corroded like mine is, you'll have to buy all new screws from Mazda at a small cost, but its worth it to know. Plus, if not, you can upgrade.

I assume that your car is an S4 if you need to use a switch to cut off the fuel pump, as S5 cars you only need to press the accelerator to the floor while starting to get the same effect. If its an S4 and you are running 12 PSI you have some crazy mods or major boost creep.
