Fuel pump upgrade

hey i cant find enough info on this
someone know off th top of their head?
(87 gxl BTW)
I am assuming the tII fuel pump will work wth the N/A ? is there any seious modding or a big reason why i wouldnt want to do this?

Waste of time.
Your stock fuel pump can easily support 200hp at the wheels.
Not very many non-turbos can hit that number.

Running a larger capacity fuel pump like a Turbo II can induce rich conditions which will KILL POWER.

so is it poss. that i may need a fuel press. regulator since i put a walboro 255 in my 87 t2 it seems to run richer but ithink my prob. is still timing

ya thanks, i found a thread on it,
i think im gonna upgrade my secondary injectors, and computer, and buy another inake manfold/tb to port. then ill be runnin the tII pump

unless you have like a bridge port or monster street port you dont need more fuel...

in fact most NA you need to take away some fuel to make more hp
