fuel pump top plate screws

Does anyone know what the size of the screws that hold the fuel pump in are?

edit, I read the question wrong.

If you are replacing them, do what I did and just buy an assortment of machine screws.

It's amazing how soft those screws get... Get something with a hex head. I'd even go stainless if you can find them.

I want to replace them with something thats got a bolt head on it Luckily mine were ok and I only had to drill the head off one of them

I did the same went to my trusty ace hardware and found some nice stainless machine screws but i like the philips heap screws so thats what i got.

mine were rusted bad held in by like 4 or 5 now when i get a new tank ill get legit screws.

So I went to the hardware store and the screws are m4x.7 so im pretty sure m4 x 1 would work as well I got some nice hexnut bolts that will do the job

That is an odd size 4x.07mm I would think it would be 4x1.0mm, but eh, I never tried measuring one. Let us know what works out.
