fuel pump or SAFC......

hey guys, i'm new here but i've been searching through the forums and whatnot for awhile trying to find out what i want to know and i'm still not sure. ok, i've got an 87 TII that had its motor rebuilt 5k miles ago, i'm seriously considering getting the thunderfabrications 3" downpipe/midpipe, an apexi dualN1 catback(cause it just looks too badass) and an FCD. i'm also planning on getting some kind of fuel upgrade cause i'm not into the whole blowing motors thing. so i'm wondering with the full exhaust could i just use a walbro pump? i was thinking of getting a SAFC but i dont really know of anyplace around here (huntsville, AL) where i could get it tuned correctly. so basically with a full exhaust and eventual intake, will the walbro pump be able to give me enough fuel? thanks for any help.

fuel pump or S-AFC

Id say with the mods that you have the S-AFC is the best way to go... that way you can tune your car a bit.... and gat a bit more power..and like i do.. elan out the idle a bit so the car ALMOST sounds like it can idle...

from what i understand, an AFC on all stock injectors will only let you max out the injectors faster. in my opinion go with the fuel pump. youll need more fuel before you need to tune it any. if you can swing it, get some bigger injectors too. 680cc or 720cc for the secondaries. then you will need an AFC to tune them with. better to have more fuel than you need than to need more fuel than you have.
