fuel pump rewiring question

fuel pump rewiring question

well im planning to rewire the fuel pump on my rex and i found a couple of thread with wirings and my questions is is theres any difference betwen S4 and S5 fuel pump wiring and the other thing too i have a turbo II engine with a N351 ecu and my other question is does it helps doing the rewiring?. thanks

what pump you running stock or aftermarket? i have a turbo2 and rewirded it. and also did a dual waldro255 pump for my friends 3rd gen.

Yes but only in the wire colours. The procedure is exactly the same.

If it didn't, it wouldn't be done...

For S5's the colours are:

A: blue/red
B: blue/red
C: blue/red
D: blue/green
E: green/red
F: blue/green
Fuel pump power: blue/green

thanks, i have a FD pump but im in doub about it because it looks the same as the turbo II one i had before does anybody knows the part No of the FD pump to make sure is the same?

I just upgraded my TII pump to an FD pump and they do look like the same pump however it flows approx 15% more than the TII pump. (at least I believe that to be correct)
