Fuel Pump Rewire
I'M UNSURE HOW TO GO ABOUT CONNECTING THE MAIN POWER INTO THE FUEL PUMP RELAY.
MY RELAYS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MOVED (NOT BY ME) FROM THE FRONT TO THE BACK. WHAT I HAVE, BEGINNING FROM THE PUMP SIDE, IS THE GRND AND POWER GOING TO 1ST RELAY WHICH THEN HAS A GRND CONNECTED TO BODY AND 1 POWER GOING TO ANOTHER RELAY LOOKING THING (WITH ABOUT FIVE WIRES COMMING OUT).
MY QUESTION IS WHERE DO I CONNECT THE 12GAUGE WIRE (DIRECT FROM BATTERY)??? THE CURRENT POWER WIRE ON THE RELAY IS NOT DIRECT FROM THE BATTERY. SORRY IF MY WORDING IS CONFUSING, BUT I'M IN A RUSH.

Near as I can tell, you may simply have a fuel cut-off relay connected into the circuit. What turns the relay that the fuel pump is connected to on and off? In the discussion on the fuel pump rewire, they are using an extra relay to provide battery power to the 5-wire relay (I am assuming we are talking about the fuel pump resistor and relay assembly - are we?). From that relay, they are providing battery voltage. Since your setup is not only not stock, but doesn't match that setup either (The extra relay powers the fuel pump directly and does not get battery power), you will have to completely rewire this to work correctly. To do so, I need to know exactly where every wire on these 2 relays comes from/goes to. If you can provide that, I will try and help you. Have a good day!

thanks!!!
i worked it out, the relay with the five wires was the antenna relay. and the other relay used the power from the antenna (???) and was used to switch between on/off. so it was easy, i unplugged the ant power and connected power directly from the battery.
one other question, i have a 40A fuse in line of the new 8gauge wire. is the fuse rating right? the fuel pump is a internal bosch k-jetronic.
