fuel pulsation dampner

It's not uncommon for that screw to vibrate out and fall in the surrounding plastic cover. Fuel will not come out if JUST the screw falls out.
The screw, screws into the middle of a nylon/rubber diaphram. The hole with threads in the middle are not open to the fuel side of the diapharm.
The problem with reinstalling the screw in the diaphram, is if you use any TORQUE reinstalling the screw, you going to twist/deform the diaphram.
You could use vibratite or some locktite on the scew threads and then screw the screw back in using little if any torque screwing it in. Just stop screwing when you feel resistance. It's a judgemental thing on how much.
You'd only do that if there is no leakage from the diaphram with the screw removed and pressure on the rail.
