Angry fuel problems

I Recently instaled a new fuel pump (stock, OEM) and now when i make a hard left turn at speed the car misses , like it isnt getting fuel, and today it even stalled on me on a quick hard left turn. Any ideas.

Did you replace or clean the inlet "sock" while you had it out? For some magical reason they like to clog when taken out of the tank & exposed to fresh air for the first time in 16 years....lack of gas will do it, too...

if not lack of fuel, then the usual suspect will be that sock, with a less likely event being something loose or water in the tank...

I know this isn't the right way to do things, but I got to the point where I just cut a square hole in the dang thing with an exacto-knife...replace my (much easier to get to) main filter every 15,000 miles...Maybe one of these days I'll actually get a replacement sock...
