Fuel problem, could use some help

well im still working on tryin to get my friends fc running. i have fixed the ignition system and thats all working, but now its a fuel problem. i checked for voltage at the pump connector(or where the connector should be, cause there is now electric tape). well no voltage there, so the fuel pump is most likely good, its just not getting any power. the last thing that i did before i stopped was checked the resistance of the circuit opening relay, and it was all within the resistance specs, so the relay is good. my question is where should i go next?? any help is much appreciated, thanks

yea and just for something else to throw in there, when my friend bought the car of course is wasnt running, but since it seems like an electrical problem right now maybe the fact that the 80amp main fuse was blown might help, if that could have anything to do with it
