I have an 87 rx7 turbo that first started running terribly rough but now it won't start at all. When it did run there was a very strong smell of gas and a lot of smoke was coming out of either the exhaust or somewhere near the area. I'm not terribly knowledgable but my guess is that it's the fuel pump, if I'm right does anyone have any tips on how to check that before I buy a new fuel pump? If I'm wrong any suggestions?
