fuel pressure regulator question
i've been trying to start my TII for hella long now and it's pissing me off.... i've already replaced the fuel pump because i thought it wasn't getting enough pressure, but i changed it and i felt the inlet line with my hand and it's still pretty hard. however, the return doesn't have any pressure. Is it normal for the return line to not have any pressure? and also, has anybody had any start up issues with their car where the fuel pressure regulator doesn't leak? but it was bad somehow.. like it was stuck open or stuck closed... and how can you diagnose it? with the car not starting... also, two days ago when it had the old fuel pump, i had put 2 cycle oil inside the engine by taking out the sparkplugs and then didn't crank it and waited two days and i decided to crank it for the hell of it and the mother ****** started i just put in a rebuilt engine i rebuiled and i was also able to start the car on brake clean any ideas?

Jumper the yellow two socket fuel pump check connector.
Pull the RETURN line off the engine.
Key to On. Fuel should flow out the RETURN line from the ENGINE. If not, then maybe the lines on the engine are installed wrong.

the lines on the engine are hooked up right because when i pulled out the fuel pump assembly to change out the fuel pump, some gas came out from the return line, imma check if the injectors are even opening by taking out the rails, leaving the injectors on the rains and cranking the engine, that way i know that they're opening and fuel comming out(of course i'll disable the spark) if they're working properly, imma start looking for vacuum leaks which i think could also be a factor, anybody has any other ideas?
