Fuel Management and WB O2 Question...230ish HP

With a stock TII with bolt-on mods, I'm wondering what kind of fuel management will be sufficient.

I'm hoping with all the mods I'll be pushing about 230 - 260 hp. I'm wondering if something like a SAFC (or eManage?) would be okay or if I have to go with something a bit more advance. If you guys have any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

Also I'm planning to get a wideband o2 sensor and I was wondering if you guys could give some opinions on a price-efficient unit. I have to the downpipe out so I just want to get a bung welded in for now. But in order to figure out which bung to use I need to make a decision on the make and model.

If you guys could help me out that'd be great.

rtek 1.7 and S-AFC are capable of 230whp on the stock turbo.

all wideband bungs are the same.

you mean together or separately?

"all wideband bungs are the same"

I was not aware of that. So technically I could get any O2 bung off of ebay and be set?

o2 sensors are pretty much all M18x1.5 thread

you might want to go right for the Rtek 2.1 . It will give you more room to grow, and you won't have to wire up an SAFC. Plus it allows datalogging, gives you direct timing control, and gives you control over cranking fuel to prevent flooding.

1.7 and AFC need to be used together to fine tune fuel adjustments(keep in mind AFC adjustments affect timing..reducing fuel advances, adding fuel retards). the 2.1 is a better option if you have the budget for it.

don't even think about turning up the boost until you have a wideband display.

You'd be much better off w/ the 2.1 Timing control will make it much easier to reach your power goals (and safely), especially on the stock turbo. Plus its not that much more, but the time you buy a 1.7 or 1.8 and a SAFC, you might as well save another 100 bux and do it right.
