fuel lines?

Ok so im coming close to the end of my turbo project(or maybe just the beginning) well anyway the motors(s4 turbo) in the car(a 88 vert) and im just hooking everything up and wiring stuff but ive got 2 questions. 1st i thought there was 2 fuel lines on inlet and the outlet. so ive got one line that im pretty sure is right running to the charcoal canister then ive got 2 more though i thought i ran from pump- inlet -rails- charcoal canister- back to tank. that would only need 2 lines . so my question is are there 3 lines? and if so where do they go. ill try to get [pictures to help out. the second question is regarding the wiring harness to alternater. ive got 2 little wires coming out of the harness im pretty sure they run to the voltage regulator on the alternator. im just wondering if the black connector goes on the right or left thanks for any help guys..

The one going to the Charcoal Canister is not a fuel line. That is an emissions related line from the *crankcase*.

The line on the engine that comes from the FPR is the one that should head for the fuel tank.

The one coming right off the fuel filter is the pressure line.

There is also a fuel tank vent line that ends up at the charcoal canister.
Even if you remove all the emmissions stuff, you probably want to keep that one.
