Fuel light stays on
Hey guys. My car is an '86 N/A. I filled up my tank this morning because I was really low on gas. I Put in about 15 gallons and drove off. The fuel level gauge went to Full as normal, but the low fuel light never turned off. I've never seen it do that before.
I drove around for half an hour after the fill-up, and it never turned off. Theres some serious heat going on in Southern Cali right now, might that have anything to do with it? Any help is appreciated.

There's a sensor on the pump assy. I think it's called a thermistor. I suspect your's is bad. The sensor can be bought from MAZDATRIX or your dealer.
The fsm that is online has a section called BODY ELECTRICAL that has some troubleshooting procedures for that light. It's the sensor though.
