Fuel leak and headlights
I just had a rebuilt on my 10AE. It leaks fuel after it's been running for about 5 mins. Around the area below in the pic. There's a gas puddle on the ground and when the drips hit the exhuast pipes, it turns into white smoke.
Any suggestions on why my headlights aren't working, I've checked the fuses. Yes, I did a search and nothing really helped. Going through the FSM right now.

Yeah the pulsation dampener can start a fire easily I would fix that ASAP. If the headlights won't light up check the relay under the hood, right behind the bumper theres a line of relays. Check the FSM and find out which ones the headlight relay, unplug it and look for burn marks. I remember mine had water in it and went out half-way through Joplin, haha.

Don't drive it. It WILL burn. Could be the dampener, could be the rail.
I had a fuel rail that cracked, apparently they aren't the greatest design / material. Shop made a custom one from copper.

one question what in the hell is your avatar, and yes probably fuel pulsation dampner i had that same prob and i eliminated it by using a banjo bolt from a mazda 929 fuel rail and fpd crush washer with a flat steel washer behind it and a normal crush washer on rail side . worked like a charm

Put the key in the "ON" position (engine not running)
on the passengar side shock tower is a two-pin electrical connector, yellow in color (may still have this brown insulation crap around it). Jumper this connector with some wire. This will pressurize the fuel system without having to run the car. You can do this with your intake manifold off to check where the fuel is dripping (and it is likely the pulsation dampener)

Update: Thx viperkiller7 and arghx.
Found the leak under the IM, the clamp on the hose to the engine harness wasn't tight and/or strong enough. PD looks good, still has screw in it.
Still having problems with the headlights, all fuses and bulbs are good. Checked the connections behind the headlights and the 4pin relay with a voltmeter. No power to the plug, relay has continuity, going to check the switch tomorrow. Any other suggestions?

I meant fuel line, not engine harness.
