fuel leak

I have a bad fuel leak. I changed all the injector seals and fuel hoses are fine. I start the car with the upper intake manifold off and it starts and shuts off. when i do this there is no leak present on the floor. I try starting it and shutting it off with everything on and there is fuel on the floor. what is up with this?

then i take off the manifold and there is fuel present by the secondary fuel rail.

Why is it leaking?

if the fuel is by your secondary rail it might be the FPR instead.

Turn your car on but not start the car and jump the fuel pump connector to start the fuel pump with out starting the car. YOu can see the fuel leak alot better this way and is safer. THe connector is next to the air box and has only two connection. HOpe this helps

It could be possible that the crush washer is leaking on the fuel rail. The fuel rail is sealed with a bunch of crush washers that typically do not leak unless you mess with the ends.

Have you removed the rail recently? It could be that you damaged one of the o-rings that seal the fuel injector top to the rail itself. Remove the rail and remove the fuel injector - carefully inspect the o-rings at the top.
